Solvente per vernici, lacche, adesivi e soprattutto per resine acetil ed etil cellulose, colofonia e suoi esteri, resine naturali, sintetiche etc.
Usato anche nell’industria della celluloide, nella farmaceutica, nella cosmetica, nella sgrassatura della lana, ma soprattutto nell’industria del mobile come solvente per tinte, vernici poliesteri, nitro e per il lavaggio dei manufatti e delle attrezzature di verniciatura.
E’ usato come solvente per acetato di cellulosa, olii, cere, resine, gomma e plastiche.

It is used as a solvent for cellulose acetate, oils, waxes, resins, rubber, and plastics.
